Finalist in the Love where you live competition

My photo 'Cotswold Wall' made the finals in the competition Love where you Live.

The competition, run by The Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro) a not-for-profit company which represents the leading aluminium packaging producers and reprocessors in the UK, was set up to celebrate the fact they have helped grow over a quarter of a million trees in the UK and Africa as part of their recycling programme.

Over 5000 entries were received and all the finalists form part of an exhibition that is running at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens during May 2010.

Bronze Award in International Aperture Awards 2009

My image 'Lavender Storm' won a bronze certificate in the Landscape category of the International Aperture Awards 2009, a prestigious annual Australian photographic competition open to worldwide entries and one of the biggest online competitions around.

Inspired by World Heritage Photographic Exhibition 2009

I'm pleased to announce that not one but two of my images are being displayed in this years World Heritage Photographic Exhibition.

The exhibition forms part of the Saltaire Festival, which takes place from 10th September – 20th September.

Saltaire, near Bradford recently became one of only 27 World Heritage Sites in the UK. You can find out more about the outstanding cultural and natural heritage that Unesco protects by viewing the list of sites here

Great British Summer Photography Competition Winner

On Saturday 5th September at an awards ceremony in Mayfair, London I won the Times Section of the Great British Summer Photography Competition as sponsored by Currys with this photo.



It was great prize, consisting of a camera a camcorder and not least, a holiday worth £5.000.

Needless to say, pretty chuffed.
