Lake District gets another visit
06th November 2013
The opportunity recently came up for a quick break in the wonderful Lake District. I would have had to be a fool to turn it down, and I'm no fool.
It was only for a couple of days, but my camera and I managed to pack quite a lot in, as is our way. Along with the usual visits to Derwentwater, Buttermere, Ashness and Castlerigg, I also managed a trip to a disused slate quarry which was a first for me, but well worth the effort, it was quite a place.
